French Double Handicap Championship 2023

A high-level sporting event and a national showcase for team spirit

Today in France, more than 300 sailing clubs are committed to providing access to sailing for more than 10,000 disabled sailors.
Since 2019, there have been French double-handed championships.
This year, our partner, the Sciez water sports centre, will be hosting the championships from Thursday 25 to Monday 29 May 2023.

Provisional programme

THURSDAY 25 MAY
1pm to 6.30pm: Confirmation of registrations
6pm: Opening of the "Regards croisés" exhibition featuring works by professional artists and the APEI du Chablais Plastic Arts Workshops

FRIDAY 26 MAY
9am to 11.30am: Confirmation of entries
12pm: Runners' briefing
2pm: 1st Hansa 303 double warning signal
4pm: 1st warning signal for other classes
7pm: Opening ceremony


SATURDAY 27 MAY 9am: Racer briefing
10.15am: 1st warning signal other classes
2pm: 1st Hansa 303 double warning signal
6.30pm: Hansa Class General Assembly and musical entertainment

SUNDAY 28 MAY
9am: Racer briefing
10.15am: 1st Hansa 303 double warning signal
14:15: 1st warning signal for other classes
7.15pm: Crew meal

MONDAY 29 MAY

Between 12 noon and 4pm: Closing ceremony Prize-giving ceremony with wine reception, weather permitting.
