The Evian One: a project designed for Lake Geneva
The primary objective of the Evian One is to move as quickly as possible on the shores of Lake Geneva. Similar to a "prestige cab boat", its mission will be to link the cities of Evian and Geneva in 30 minutes, an unbeatable score!
The project was born out of a request from the Evian Resort, which owns two prestigious hotels: the Royal Palace ***** and the Hotel Ermitage ****. Wishing to offer its demanding clientele a faster transfer between Geneva or Lausanne airport and its hotels, the group will be the first to benefit from this extraordinary means of transport. Their customers will be offered a quick and easy crossing of Lake Geneva... but with enough time to enjoy the Lake Geneva landscape. With a length of 12 meters, it can accommodate 10 passengers.
The Evian One: impressive performance
Designed by the A2V company: Advanced Aerodynamic Vessels located in La Rochelle, the Evian One not only has futuristic curves but also benefits from an innovative system.
Its design, combining water and air, allows it to skim the water and reach a speed of 50 knots, or about 110 km/h. Its hull, made of aerodynamic and hydrodynamic composite, and its propellers, operating in water and in air, allow the boat to rise on the water, a navigation in suspension! This mode of operation reduces by half the contact of the structure with the water. The impact is more than positive because this system reduces fuel consumption and therefore the ecological footprint.
